Lisa Smith is a certified fraud examiner, licensed private investigator and professional genealogist. Ms. Smith is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators as well as the Rockingham County Law Enforcement Officers Association. She has been a member of the Private Investigator Association of Virginia and the New Hampshire League of Investigators, where she served as editor of their quarterly newsletter and on their Cold Case committee.
Ms. Smith is also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Federation of Genealogical Societies, as well as the Texas Bay Area Genealogical Society, where she currently serves as 1st Vice President on their Board of Directors. Ms. Smith has presented at genealogical societies, churches, and colleges, and is published in the Texas Bay Area Genealogical Society newsletter and journal. She specializes in Greek, Ukrainian, and Swedish genealogy, but enjoys teaching genealogical methodology to everyone.
Ms. Smith began with a career in computer programming moving into the medical field before pursuing a career in investigation and fraud examination. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Criminal Justice. Her creative and analytical skills optimize her investigation work and fit perfectly into her love for solving puzzles.
